Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Waste Disposal Operator, you manage daily waste tipping, cell containment grading, and daily soil/synthetic cover applications at regional disposal facilities. You direct commercial haul vehicles safely across active tipping faces, inspect incoming loads to prevent unauthorized waste disposal, and operate loaders, bulldozers, or compactors to manage waste placement. Furthermore, you construct stormwater diversion berms, conduct daily landfill liner inspections, and assist site engineers with environmental compliance checks. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at disposal facility grounds (zero remote availability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Requires 2+ years of experience in waste disposal operations, landfill management, or heavy civil earthmoving. Ability to work outdoors across all seasonal weather conditions is required.
