Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Transfer Station Operator, you manage heavy equipment operations, tipping floor waste consolidation, and stationary compactor staging across regional transfer station facilities. You operate wheel loaders, track excavators, and skid steers to push, sort, and compact solid waste on the tipping deck into high-capacity transfer trailers. Additionally, you enforce site traffic safety rules for commercial haul trucks, monitor incoming waste loads for non-compliant materials, and conduct daily machinery maintenance inspections. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site facility presence (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Requires 2+ years of experience operating heavy industrial machinery (wheel loaders, excavators, or skid steers) in waste or industrial environments.
