Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Hazardous Materials Handler, you execute safe receiving, sorting, labeling, drum consolidation, and staging of regulated chemicals and hazardous waste products inside treatment and storage facilities. You operate forklifts to maneuver chemical totes and drums, inspect container integrity to prevent leaks, apply proper DOT hazard labels, and complete chemical waste manifests. You also maintain clean spill containment bays and strictly adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site facility presence (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED required alongside a valid 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification. Requires 1+ years of experience handling hazardous materials, chemical manufacturing, or industrial waste processing, along with forklift operator certification.
