As a Commercial Waste Collector, you support commercial route drivers with servicing front-load dumpsters, maneuvering heavy containers, and managing commercial site pickups.
• Assist drivers with positioning commercial dumpsters for hydraulic truck lift alignment
• Operate commercial bin locking controls and hydraulic packer mechanisms safely
• Clear loose waste or debris around commercial dumpster enclosures to leave stops clean
• Guide drivers safely during vehicle reversing maneuvers in congested commercial alleys
• Report broken dumpster lids, damaged locks, or access obstructions to dispatchers
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required high-visibility gear
Required Skills and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Physical capability to perform heavy manual labor, including maneuver containers weighing up to 60 lbs
• Comfort working outdoors across varying seasonal weather conditions
• Strong safety orientation, punctuality, and reliable attendance
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• 1+ years of experience in commercial waste collection, sanitation, or general labor
• Interest in advancing into commercial front-load driver training programs
