Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Environmental Compliance Specialist audits landfill gas monitoring systems, stormwater discharge infrastructure, and waste handling permits across regional operating depots. You conduct site compliance inspections, manage environmental permit renewals, review laboratory groundwater testing reports, and coordinate regulatory agency site visits. Furthermore, you implement employee safety environmental training programs, log emissions data into compliance databases, and manage environmental corrective action plans. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence across facilities and field testing sites (no work-from-home capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline required. Requires 3+ years of professional environmental regulatory or compliance experience with strong knowledge of EPA Title V, NPDES, and RCRA regulations.
