Position Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI-adjacent Waste Management Refuse Collector, you support residential and commercial refuse collection along assigned daily service loops. Working riding steps or accompanying collection vehicles, you assist drivers by wheeling heavy refuse carts to truck lifts, operating hydraulic packing blade controls, and guiding drivers safely during backing maneuvers in narrow alleys. Additionally, you clear spilled refuse immediately, assist with route cleanup, and report damaged carts to dispatch. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence along collection routes (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED preferred. Requires physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy containers (up to 60 lbs) continuously in all weather conditions, along with a reliable attendance history.
