Position Summary & Responsibilities
The Route Supervisor directs daily field operations, route completion efficiency, and driver safety compliance across assigned collection territories. You manage morning driver dispatches, conduct field safety observations, analyze vehicle telematics data, and resolve customer missed-service inquiries promptly. Additionally, you perform accident investigations, deliver daily driver safety briefings, manage route adjustments using dispatch software, and enforce DOT regulations. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site field and facility leadership (zero remote options).
Qualifications & Benefits
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred) alongside 3+ years of supervisory experience in logistics, commercial transport, or waste collection operations. A valid CDL Class A or B is preferred. Requires strong leadership, communication, and telematics analysis skills.
