Position Summary & Responsibilities: As a Recycling Plant Operator, you manage the main processing line operations inside high-speed recycling plants. You operate automated sorting screens, optical sorters, magnetic separation pulleys, and heavy balers while maintaining consistent material feed rates. You perform routine equipment calibrations, clear conveyor belt jams safely, conduct commodity purity sampling checks, and log shift processing tonnages into facility management software. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site plant presence (zero remote options).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED required; formal mechanical or technical training preferred. Requires 2+ years of machine operator experience in recycling, manufacturing, or material handling plants. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around heavy automated machinery is required.
